Computing Systems Week Webinar series – free online seminars

The CSW Webinar series will kick off on Tuesday 23 March (16.00 CET), with Marc Duranton of CEA introducing the HiPEAC Vision 2021.

In the thirty years since the advent of the internet, computers have changed how we live our lives. Computing systems are becoming increasingly complex and well as used in a wider range of situations and contexts; the HiPEAC Vision 2021 recommends a series of steps and measures to ensure that Europe makes the most of what computing has to offer while managing and controlling the challenges and risks. The recommendations include a moonshot programme ‘Guardian Angels’, virtual entities that will facilitate the use of computing systems while protecting us from online dangers.

This Spring’s edition of Computing Systems Week will become Computing Systems Webinars, a series of free online seminars running from 23 March to mid-May. This series of events will include keynotes, presentations on research topics, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, group project dissemination, etc. Sessions will take place at times designed to allow as many people as possible to attend:

  • Tuesdays at 16:00 CET
  • Thursdays at 10:00 CET

Sessions will be hosted on Zoom and Gathertown. Please register via the HiPEAC homepage: https://www.hipeac.net/csw/2021/spring-webinars/#/
