SUMMARY:Digitalized Industry – a Workshop in two parts focusing on Opportunities in Horizon Europe and Insights into industrial challenges
DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to join this workshop in two parts (Tues 9 Nov: Part 1: 9-11.30 and Part 2: 13.30-16).  To register\, please go to: https://www.kth.se/form/615317550bc75b0013d7b235 \nThis will be a physical meeting at the Digital futures hub at KTH Campus Valhallavägen\, although an on-line presence will also be an option.  This event is co-organized event by Digital Futures\, the KTH platforms for Digitalization and Industrial Transformation\, and the ICES and TECoSA research  centers.  For the agenda\, and more details\, please see https://www.digitalfutures.kth.se/event/digitalized-industry-a-workshop-in-two-parts-focusing-on-opportunities-in-horizon-europe-and-insights-into-industrial-challenges/  \nIn the first part\, the focus is on opportunities in Horizon Europe\, the continuation of the H2020 EU program\, which recently started. The program is very large with many different parts. We here focus on dissemination and discussing concrete calls and opportunities in the area most relevant for Digitalized industry.  Another focus will be on best practices and how KTH can support proposal efforts. Bring your questions and ideas! \nIn the second part\, a couple of industrial organizations will be sharing insights from their industrial roadmaps. SUMMARY:9th Scandinavian Conference on System and Software Safety
DESCRIPTION:This year’s SCSSS takes place at Lindholmspiren in Gothenburg\, 23-24 November 2021.  (If you would like to submit a proposal for a presentation or tutorial\, the deadline is 23 April – see http://safety.addalot.se/2021/call-for-presentations for more details!) \nThis conference\, organised by Addalot\, ICES (KTH) and SAFER\,  has become the central meeting place for Scandinavian safety experts from different industries. It is an opportunity to share experiences and make new contacts. \nThere will be a plenary overview split over two days\, plus parallel sessions involving in-depth workshops and tutorials about different challenges\, techniques\, standards and methods. As in previous years\, we anticipate a healthy mixture of participants and presentations from different industries and academia. \nAs many industries head towards more and more connected and advanced software-intensive systems\, system and software safety in electronic systems is becoming increasingly important.
